Isabel's 3rd Birthday Party

I wasn't really planning to post this here on my blog, but since my mom was so curious about the whole event and since I myself am still ecstatic about the result of my home-made cake. I decided to post and shout it out to the world...

Anyway, I stayed up until 1am the other night designing Isabel’s 3rd Birthday cake, and I have to say, despite the terrible headache I still have from going to bed so late and the difficulty of doing this, the effort was totally worth it. I love the outcome! It feels great to be productive and learn something new every day. Designing this cake has really given me a productive outlet for my creative side.

Here's my first fondant attempt. Still not perfect but it was a hit. Everybody loved it.

In the end, I did a little bit of touch up with the decorations.
